Caromex International - CAROGUM® 25 & CAROGUM® 50 SBR for Chewing Gum Base
- CAROGUM® elastomers are emulsion polymerized butadiene-styrene copolymers, specially produced according to the requirements of the Food Chemicals Codex and comply with FDA Regulation 21-CFR-172.615 for Chewing Gum Bases
- CAROGUM® 50, with an approximate 50/50 monomer ratio, is ideal for manufacturing a gum base for a firm chewing or bubble gum.
- CAROGUM® 25, with an approximate 75/25 monomer ratio, is ideal for manufacturing a gum base for a soft chewing or bubble gum.
- CAROGUM® 50 and CAROGUM® 75 can be blended together to achieve any desired degree of firmness, and can also be blended with, or substituted for, poly-isobutylene (PIB) and polyvinyl acetate (PVA), or isobutylene-isoprene (Butyl).
- CAROGUM® elastomers are stabilized with either BHT or BHA according to the customer's needs.
- CAROGUM® is available in bales and crumbs.
We have Carogum® 25 and Carogum® 50 for immediate sampling. Carogum® 25 is available in bale form, while Carogum® 50 is available in bale or crumb form. Samples contain BHT anti-oxidant. BHA can be made available but need commitment on volume. Bales are film wrapped. Food contact grade.
